2.1 General Financial Risks

The services provided through Honemek involve digital financial transactions. Users must acknowledge that electronic systems, internet infrastructure, and mobile applications carry inherent technological risks, including potential communication failures, latency, or unauthorized access attempts despite robust encryption layers.

2.2 Third-Party Partner Risk

Honemek partners with licensed institutions and payment processors to facilitate seamless money transfers, utility bill payments, and secure saving products. Users acknowledge that interruptions or operational issues at partner banking institutions or regulatory framework modifications may temporarily affect service processing times.

2.3 User Account Security Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, PINs, and passwords. Honemek shall not be held liable for losses incurred due to unauthorized access resulting from user negligence, sharing of credentials, or compromised personal devices.

2.4 Source of Funds and Account Privacy Disclaimer

The company will not be held responsible for wherever the customer gets money from to input in his/her individual honemekpoint account, as we cannot invade individual personal accounts except if it is a court order to freeze such an account.

Section 3

Saving Products Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your participation in savings, targets, and investment programs provided on the Honemek platform. By depositing funds into any savings category, you agree to comply with these explicit stipulations.

3.1 Account Creation and Deposits

Users must complete all mandatory verification requirements before activating savings features. Deposits can be made via approved automated channels, bank transfers, or connected debit/credit cards linked securely to your main account profile.

3.2 Withdrawal Notice Requirements

The customer will place a 24-hour notice for withdrawal before funds are successfully credited and dropped into their main account profile.

3.3 Interest Calculation and Payouts

Savings yields, high returns, and interest structures are calculated based on specific product parameters active at the time of deposit. Payout intervals and exact rates are explicitly stated within the app interface during product selection.

3.4 Fixed Savings Agreements and Early Withdrawal Rules

Fixed savings agreements must be strictly adhered to as agreed. Any early withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances will require providing at least one to two months of prior notice, and the customer will only be permitted to withdraw up to half (50%) of the total fixed savings balance.

3.5 Fixed Savings Maturity and Final Payouts

At the month of the final withdrawal of the fixed savings plan, the customer only withdraws their core capital, as there will be no more additional interest added to it.

Data Retention Policy

Honemekpoint Global Limited maintains structured guidelines regarding how long customer records, transaction logs, and personal identifiers are stored within our system environments.

4.1 Retention Period Guidelines

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements.

4.2 Regulatory Compliance Logging

Financial records, identity verification documents, and audit logs are retained for a minimum period mandated by Nigerian financial regulations and compliance frameworks (typically up to 5 years following account closure or last transaction date) to prevent fraudulent activities and resolve legal disputes.

4.3 Secure Deletion and Anonymization

Upon the expiration of the mandatory retention period, personal data is permanently expunged, shredded, or irreversibly anonymized so that it can no longer be associated with you.
